Columbus, OH Tuesday, April 3, 2009- Brown Logistics Solutions, Inc. announced the expansion of its operations by over 100,000 sq ft with the purchase and occupancy of a 151,972 sq ft warehouse and transportation terminal at 2100 Cloverleaf Street E in Columbus, Ohio.
The building, formerly home to North American Van Lines National Distribution Center, features 16 dock doors and a rail spur. The purchase near the I-70 and Hamilton Road exit includes 12 acres of usable storage, five of which is paved. The additional space will be utilized by Brown and its In Motion Promotion division, to accommodate existing and future business, according to Keith Hunt, President.
Brown Logistics Solutions provides a wide range of warehouseing and logistical services including local and nationwide delivery of specialized commodoties such as computers, retail fixtures and telecommunications equipment. Brown is a family-owned and operated company that has been in the transportation and warehousing business since 1914.
In Motion Promotion owns and operates specialized properties including customized show trailers, motor coaches, tents and other properties for on-site sales, marketing, demonstration, training or corporate hospitality events.
- February 2009 In Motion Promotion delivers new 48' slideout mobile training trailer to Babcock & Wilcox (B&W). The trailer will be going to job sites throughout the US and Canada to educate B&W workers on safety and compliance issues.
